Save time or lower costs?

Apparently, there are solutions which fulfill both postulates at the same time.

An execution of a project can be time effective without rising costs. It is achieved by taking aggressive scheduling techniques and use of resources optimization. This way of solution shortens whole time of project duration and as a result reduces any indirect costs.

One of the project management myths, assumes that all the tasks planed should require a large margin of safety. However, it appears as the de-motivated factor for people working on a project.

According to Parkinson?s Law, the amount of work increases to fill and sometimes to exceed the whole available time. The solution is the aggressive evaluation of completion time of tasks because then people work effective to meet the deadline and they do not consider any delays.
